Cash bond set at $2,000 for Janesville woman accused of causing drugged crash that killed 4

A Janesville woman facing four counts of vehicular homicide and four counts of injury by use of a vehicle under a controlled substance in connection to an April crash appears in Rock County Court for the first time.

Court Commissioner Jack Hoag set 24-year-old Lexus Boedecker’s cash bond at $2,000 noting she didn’t have any prior criminal history and had given birth in the last month.

According to the criminal complaint, Boedecker was 23 weeks pregnant and wasn’t authorized to drive the Willow Winds group home van when blew a stop sign in Lima township and set off a chain reaction crash with two other vehicles that injured four people and killed four others.

She’s due back in Rock County Court for an adjourned initial appearance on September 3rd.
