One man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Jefferson County over the weekend.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the single-vehicle crash on County Highway H in the town of Palmyra just after 6:30 Saturday evening.
The rider of the motorcycle was located face down about 50 feet from the motorcycle.
Investigation determined the motorcycle left the roadway while coming out of a curve, hit a culvert, and the rider was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
