A 46-year-old Clinton man accused of drunkenly pulling a gun on two people in a vehicle at Shady Hill Mobile Home Park is bound over for trial.
Jose Guadalupe Espinoza appeared in Rock County Court Monday morning for his preliminary hearing on two counts of second degree recklessly endangering safety, operating a firearm while intoxicated, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct. Espinoza entered a plea of not guilty to the charges.
According to the criminal complaint the Rock County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the trailer park on East Creek Road on the report that an intoxicated man had pointed a rifle at them.
The victims reported that they were leaving the trailer park and became stuck at which point their vehicle’s engine revved.
