A 71-year-old Janesville man is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a 12 and 14-year-old nearly two years ago makes an appearance in Rock County Court
In July of 2022 Timothy Sporer was charged with repeated sexual assault of the same child and exposing a child to harmful material in connection to incidents that happened at his home with a 14-year-old that he worked with at Timz Toyz and Toolz.
In June, the victim’s brother, who was 12 at the time of the incident, disclosed that Sporer showed him child pornography of his own sibling and exposed himself around the same time his brother was sexually assaulted.
This week Sporer waived his right to a preliminary hearing and entered a plea of not guilty to the new charges of child enticement, exposing genitals to a child, and exposing a child to harmful material.
He’s currently free on a $10,000 cash bond.
