A man faces a second OWI charge after a two-vehicle crash in the town of LaPrairie.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says Dawson Reid was backing out of a private driveway on Highway 14 near Milton Shopiere Road at about 8 p.m. Friday when a vehicle traveling eastbound on 14 collided with Reid’s.
Both vehicles were severely damaged, and the occupants of the other car were transported to an area hospital via ambulance after suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say Reid showed signs of impairment, and he was arrested after field sobriety testing. Other charges he faces in the incident include possession of drug paraphernalia, OWI causing injury, possession of open intoxicants, operating after revocation and without insurance, and moving violations.
Reid is being held at the Rock County Jail and has a court appearance scheduled Monday.
