Janesville school officials will conduct the first of three referendum information sessions tonight.

School district Superintendent Mark Holzman and Chief Financial Officer Dan McCrea will lead the session in the Adams Elementary School auditorium starting from 6 p.m.

They will take visitors on a tour of the building to highlight the kinds of facilities improvements the district would make if voters pass the $151.8 million capital referendum question that will be on their ballots in November. After the tour, there will be a question-and-answer session.

A second question will also appear on ballots for renewing an expiring $14.5 million operational referendum.

Other sessions will be at Lincoln Elementary School at 6 p.m. Oct. 9 and the Educational Services Center at 10 a.m. Oct. 16.
