The Clinton School District launched new recreational programming last month.
Community Engagement Director Brooke Franseen says nearly 100 people joined in during September, the first month of the Community Activities Program.
She says the offerings are designed to provide people of all ages in and around Clinton with more things to do — and more opportunities to build community in their small town.
Planned activities run the gamut from high-energy foam dart competitions for kids and family nights out at Cougar Lanes to “safe sitter” and kitchen skill classes for older adolescents and young teens.
Nonresidents can be part of the fun, too. Registration is available online at Clintonactivities.com, by contacting Franseen or dropping by the program office at Clinton Elementary School during office hours.
