A town of Newark man faces drug charges after an arrest in Janesville.
A criminal complaint filed in Rock County Court on Thursday says Janesville police followed Benjamin Radloff, 38, on Monday afternoon after a license plate check showed his driver’s license was revoked.
Radloff drove into Lustig Park on Janesville’s south side and parked. Officers performed a traffic stop and took Radloff into custody for driving with a revoked license.
Officers found a THC vaping device on Radloff’s person, and a police dog detected the scent of drugs during an exterior sniff of the vehicle. Inside the car, police found more than 100 amphetamine and dextroamphetamine pills in a bottle not prescribed to Radloff.
There were also several more THC vaping devices, $8,000 cash and a rolled-up $1 bill with a trace amount of cocaine found on it.
The charges against Radloff include possession of narcotic drugs at or near a park, possessing THC, bail jumping and driving with a revoked license.
