A 59-year-old Milton man is dead after a mishap at the Rock County Fairgrounds in Janesville. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office reports Rock Energy Cooperative was having an Employee Appreciation Day Saturday morning when an employee fell during a demonstration. The victim, along with a 62-year-old woman from Janesville fell about 10-feet from an extended boom on a truck. Both were transported to a local hospital where the man was pronounced dead. The investigation has been turned over to OSHA investigators.
