The Ho Chunk Nation officially breaks ground at their 32 acre site on the southeast corner of Willowbrook and Colley Roads in Beloit Friday.
Consultant Collin Price says construction will start with the casino and move to the hotel and convention center.
Price says the $405 million project is expected to wrap up in 2026.
The 240,000 Beloit casino will feature 1,500-1,800 slot machines, 44 table games, a sportsbook, four restaurants, and a casino bar.
The City of Beloit and Rock County have each made revenue sharing agreements with the Ho-Chunk to receive up to $3 million annually from casino revenues.
