The Wisconsin Department of Transportation announces plans to resurface another portion of U.S. Highway 51 in Janesville in 2029.
Project Manager Anthony Buerger says the project area runs from Blackbridge Road to U.S. Highway 14.
Proposed improvements include removing and replacing existing pavement, replacing the wingwalls and guardrail on the US 51 bridge over County F, retaining wall improvements and updated pavement markings.
Citizens are invited to learn more about the project at a public involvement meeting on November 6th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
