Democrat Jason Sanders easily wins the race for Rock County District Attorney.
The current assistant district attorney was the only candidate. He was endorsed by incumbent Rock County District Attorney David O’Leary who announced in January he would not seek re-election.
Sanders is a 2014 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School and worked as a defense attorney before becoming an assistant district attorney.
Sanders says he’s made a concentrated effort to make the public aware of the good work the District Attorney’s office is doing by issuing more press releases. There have been three in the last week from an office that usually issues news releases about twice a year.
