February trial planned for Milton man accused of firing gun inside apartment

A February trial is scheduled for a 53-year-old Milton man who’s accused of firing off a gun inside his own apartment back in March.

John Diggles is charged with two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession with intent to deliver THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the criminal complaint, Diggles damaged his own ear drum when he shot through the roof of his apartment and into the unit above his the evening of March 13th.

Diggles’ three-day jury trial is scheduled to start on February 17th. He’s currently free on a $500 cash bond.
