A 53-year-old Janesville woman who’s of sexually assaulting her own children in the 1990’s and then standing by while her husband sexually assaulting their young grandchild in 2021 takes a plea deal in Rock County Court.
According to online court records, Kelly Faye Markham plead guilty Wednesday morning to a single count of second-degree sexual assault of a child.
Judge Ashley Morse dismissed but read in additional charges of failure to act in the sexual assault of a child, two counts of child enticement, incest, and two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child.
Markham’s husband, 57-year-old Spencer Markham plead guilty in August to three counts of repeated sexual assault of a child. He was sentenced Wednesday by Judge Morse to 30 years in prison.
Their son, 27-year-old Cody Markham is charged with repeated sexual assault of the same child, and incest.
