Former City of Janesville operations director Maggie Darr apparently has a new job.
The Cambridge-Deerfield News Independent reports that the Deerfield Village Board voted Monday to finalize the hiring of Darr as the new village administrator.
Darr was one of four finalists who were interviewed during a closed session on November 2nd.
The other finalists were town of Vinton, Virginia administrative manager/clerk Antonia Arias-Magallon, Village of Lincolnwood, Illinois temporary human resources manager John Light, and city of Thorton, Colorado management analyst Alex Mansfield.
Darr held several roles within the City of Janesville between 2013 and 2024 including management information specialist, assistant to the city manager, and operations director.
Big Radio has reached out to Darr for comment.
