Madison-based Rockford Family Planning Foundation is opening the City of Rockford’s second abortion clinic Wednesday.
Executive Director Ali Kliegman says Midwest Reproductive Health at 4236 Maray Drive will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Kliegman says the Rockford community is supportive, and it’s centrally located near the border with Wisconsin.
The new clinic will offer medication abortion, free emergency contraception, counseling, and education.
