City of Janesville conducts election audit on Friday

vote-2

The City of Janesville is no stranger to election audits.

Clerk-Treasurer Lori Stottler says the Wisconsin Elections Commission randomly selects wards for audits after every federal election, and being the 10th largest City in the State, Janesville generally comes up every other year.

Stottler says Wards 4, 10, and 26 were randomly selected for an audit Friday.

Stottler says officials will hand count every ballot that was cast in those wards starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Rock County Courthouse.
