Beloit residents can hear a presentation on concepts for the future of Telfer Park this week.
The city is hosting a presentation by consultant Conventions, Sports & Leisure International on a draft market feasibility study on future options for the Edwards Sports and Activity Center.
The 28-acre park at 2101 Cranston Road has a pavilion, the Edwards Ice Arena for hockey and skating, plus facilities for baseball, softball, skateboarding.
The city has been looking to upgrade its park sports facilities for a few years, with the city and local tourism groups launching studies on sports and recreation amenities.
The city will make no decisions after the presentation, which is at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5.
