The Janesville Police Department is making the public aware of a of convicted sex offender who is moving in to the community.
37-year-old Michael A. Schoonover will be living at 702 Prairie Avenue in Janesville beginning on December 10th.
Schoonover was convicted of forth-degree sexual assault in 2012 and second-degree sexual assault of a child in 2018.
While living in Janesville Schoonover is not allowed to have unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with the victim, he’s not allowed to consume drugs, and must comply with standard sex offender rules.
