The city of Beloit announces dates for Christmas tree collection.
The public works department will collect trees from Jan. 6 to 17. Trees can be placed curbside by 6 a.m. on your regular collection day.
Christmas tree accoutrements such as ornaments, tinsel, stands, lights, etc., must be removed.
Trees can also be dropped off at the recycling drop-off center at 2351 Springbrook Court starting Jan. 4.
Wreaths and garland can be disposed of in standard city trash carts.
