A Beloit teenager arrested in connection to a shooting that left a person injured in April is waived back into juvenile court.
16-year-old Donterion Pierce is charged in Rock County court with two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of discharging a firearm from a vehicle towards a person, and possession of dangerous weapon by a person under 18.
According to the criminal complaint, Pierce fired at two victims from a vehicle as they walked home from school on April 10th, with one of the bullets striking a victim’s foot.
On April 30th Pierce made his initial appearance before Rock County Judge Michael Haakenson where he was waived into adult court.
Court Commissioner Mason Braunschweig set Pierce’s cash bond at $150,000 during an appearance on May first.
In August, Judge Derrick Grubb approved an application to have Pierce’s case assigned to Judge Ashley Morse.
In Rock County Court Wednesday morning, Judge Morse waived Peirce back into juvenile court.
