The Rock County Sheriff’s Office is apparently investigating the battery of an 81-year-old resident of Rock Haven Nursing Home.
According to a report from the Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was dispatched to the county-owned nursing home on County Highway F just before 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
No arrests were made, but the Sheriff’s Office names a 59-year-old suspect from Beloit. According to the suspect’s Linkedin page, they work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Rock Haven.
The Rock County Sheriff’s Office denied an open records request for a supplemental report which would have shed more light on the incident, citing the fact that it’s currently an open investigation.
According to Rock County Human Resources, the suspect was still employed at Rock Haven as of Friday morning.
