Authorities are investigating the death of a Janesville man police found dead in a parking lot last week at a gas station in Dane County.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office responded March 7 to a BP fuel station in the 2700 block of County N in the town of Pleasant Springs on a report of a man shot in the parking lot.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office says 23-year-old Kyle Thrasher of Janesville was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thrasher’s cause of death is still pending. The incident’s under investigation.
