Beloit residents are invited to attend a meeting to discuss an upcoming road project. City Engineer Scot Prindiville says crews will be reconstructing Fifth Street from St. Lawrence Avenue to Portland Avenue, and Liberty Avenue to Middle Street. Prindiville says this portion of Fifth Street was in poor condition and needed an upgrade. The city is seeking the public’s input on this local project during a meeting being held Thursday from 5 to 6pm at The Beloit Engineering and Water Resources Building at 2400 Springbrook Court.
