Beloit Health System is ready for another Community Safety Day this weekend. Community Relations Manager Lindsay Baumann says the event will bring together community groups and hospital departments to teach children about safety. Community Safety Day takes place Saturday from 1 to 4 pm on the Beloit Memorial Hospital front lawn. The UW-Health helicopter will kick off the free event by landing in the parking lot. Kids will get to explore emergency vehicles and will receive a “Safety Pass” booklet to complete. There will be chances to win prizes and food trucks will be on site.
