Men from Janesville, Beloit among those arrested in Whitewater ‘human trafficking’ case, police say

Whitewater police name the six men suspected of participating in what authorities are calling a “human trafficking operation.”

The accused include Trey J. Roth, 24, of Whitewater; Alfredo A. Lima, 29, of Darien; Willie Trammell IV, 35, of Beloit; Dillin R. Poeppel, 37, of Fort Atkinson; Kenshawn A. Denwiddie, 44, of Rockford; and George D. Moffett, 57, of Janesville.

All six were arrested April 25, and each faces a count of prostitution. Trammell also faces a fourth OWI charge and possession of narcotics and cocaine, Denwiddie is also accused of possessing THC and drug paraphernalia, and Moffett also has a bail jumping charge against him.

Whitewater police say the investigation is ongoing. Further details about the alleged crimes have not yet been released.
