A Janesville man is accused of posing as his ex-wife while sending nude photos of her through text messages that included discussions about having sex with children. Prosecutors say Janesville Police made contact with a person on March 17th who said she met 53-year-old Robert Joseph Dix via Facebook dating. The person said Dix had pressured her into sharing nude images and videos and discussed engaging in sexual acts with children between the ages of 12 and 18. She also received sexually explicit messages that included nude photos from someone claiming to be Dix’s ex-wife. On May 19th, Police met with Dix, who admitted to posing as his ex-wife and sharing nude photos of her without her permission. He also admitted to being sexually attracted to children but didn’t have sex with them. Dix was arrested on charges of identity theft and posting or publishing a sexually explicit image without consent. His bond was set at 15-hundred-dollars.
