Pool season is around the corner in Janesville. City Recreation Director Shelley Slapak says Rockport Pool and the new Palmer Pool are set to open Saturday, June 7th. Community leaders will host an official noodle-cutting ceremony at the Palmer Pool at 3pm. The facility features a zero-depth entry, an aquatic play feature, three lap lanes, a new pool house with locker rooms and a concession stand. The Rockport Pool features a 50-meter pool, diving well, baby pool, and concession area. Daily passes for both pools are available for five-dollars. Information on season passes, as well as pool hours can be found on the City’s website.
