The city of Beloit is renting out equipment to take a ride on the lagoon in Riverside Park. Beloit Communications Director Sarah Lock says paddle boats, kayaks and tandem bicycles are available to rent at the lagoon. Rental fees for paddle boats run from five-dollars a half hour to 12-dollars an hour. Kayaks are three-dollars for 30 minutes and five-dollars for an hour, while the tandem bike costs five-dollars a half hour and eight-dollars for an hour. Concessions are also available for purchase in the lower level of the Harry C. Moore Pavilion. The lagoon will be open until the end of the summer.
