More than a dozen agencies responded to an early morning industrial fire north of Edgerton. Rock County Emergency Dispatch says firefighters were called to Vico Plastics about 2:30 a.m. Friday. The plastic injection molding service is located in the 400 block of Haugen Road. The Dane County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies found the inside of the main building fully engulfed with black smoke when emergency crews arrived. A news release indicates the cause is yet to be determined and the Madison Area Fire Investigation Team has been requested to conduct the investigation.
