League of Women Voters and NAACP host candidate forums in Beloit

There will be at least one new face on both the Beloit City Council and School Board come April.
The Beloit League of Women Voters and the NAACP – Beloit Chapter are working to keep voters informed about the local elections.
Beloit League of Women Voters Convener Bette Carr says a pair of candidate forums are happening on March 14th at the Kolak Education Center in Beloit.
The School Board candidate forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the City Council candidate forum will start at 7:30 p.m.
The are three candidates seeking two open seats on the school board, and five candidates seeking four open seats on the city council.
