A 25-year-old Beloit man who was convicted of second-degree sexual assault of a child in 2018 is facing three new possession of child pornography charges.
According to the criminal complaint filed in Rock County Court, a Department of Corrections Agent contacted Beloit Police in May of 2023 after Christopher A. Sivaja admitted to viewing child pornography on his cell phone.
A warrant was obtained for Sivaja’s phone and it was examined by the Department of Justice’s Digital Evidence Unit. At least three images of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual activity were located.
Sivaja is currently incarcerated at Racine Correctional Institution after having his parole revoked back in July by Judge John Wood.
