The town board Monday night chose Lieutenant LeAnn Jones from within the department to replace the retiring Ron Northrup. Jones began with the Town in 2011 as a patrol officer and also has experience as an EMT and 911 Dispatcher. Jones is also Chair of the Roscoe, Illinois Police and Fire Commission. The board took the opportunity to reorganize the department and promote Lieutenant Brian Hasse to Deputy Chief and add a new patrol position.
