The Friends of Oak Hill Chapel and the Oak Hill Cemetery Preservation Society are hosting an open house on May 25th.
Society President Richard Snyder says the open house will allow the community to learn more about the historic building and get walking tours of the cemetery, all while raising funds for continued restoration of both the chapel and cemetery.
Snyder says the chapel has mostly been restored, and their main focus now is the cemetery, where they are fixing headstones, restoring bases, or replacing toppled over headstones.
The open house runs from 11am to 2pm on May 25th.
