A 62-year-old old Janesville man is accused of physically assaulting a teenage girl and threatening police during a disturbance that went down last week at a popular downtown summer concert series.
According to the criminal complaint, Jeffrey Hagerman was kicked out of Music at the Marv last Tuesday after he tried to bring in a bottle of vodka.
He apparently stashed the bottle of booze in a flower bed across the street, and when a 15-year-old found it, he attacked the girl.
Janesville Police arrived on scene to take Hagerman into custody, and they say he began bashing his head against the squad car and threatening violence against the officers.
Hagerman faces charges of physical abuse of a child, threat to a low enforcement officer, disorderly conduct, and felony bail jumping.
He is currently being held on a $2,500 cash bond.
