A 25-year-old Janesville man is accused of robbing the Kwik Trip on South Highway 51 last week.
According to the criminal complaint, Janesville Police were dispatched to the gas station on the south side of Janesville just after 1:00 last Thursday morning.
An employee reported that the suspect implied he had a gun and demanded cash, claiming his daughter was sick.
Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies used a drone to conduct surveillance and observed the suspect enter a trailer at the Jacobs Mobile Home Park. Officers stopped a vehicle that was seen leaving the trailer and identified Kodee Long as a suspect after reviewing the driver’s text messages.
Long face a single charge of armed robbery. He’s currently being held in the Rock County Jail on a $1,000 cash bond.
