Four teenagers face misdemeanor theft charges after the Rock County Sheriff’s Office says they broke into a local business, stole alcohol, and drank it.

18-year-olds Milo Ruhland and Jackson Degarmo and 19-year-olds Zachary Lizan and Nicholas Carlon made their initial appearances before Rock County Court Commissioner Jack Hoag Tuesday afternoon.

Hoag gave all four teens a signature bond and ordered that they have no contact with each other.

According to the criminal complaint, the Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the Janesville Country Club just before 3:30 Monday morning for a 911 hang-up call. Lizan and Carlon were arrested trying to run away. Degarmo and Ruhland were taken into custody inside the business.
