A 27-year-old Beloit man charged with sexually assaulting the same young girl as his parents is bound over for trial.
Cody Markham appeared in Rock County Court Tuesday morning where he waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of repeated sexual assault of the same child and incest.
Markham is accused of raping and sodomizing a child he is related to beginning in January of 2024 when they were seven-years-old.
It was the same victim that 53-year-old Kelly Faye Markham and 57-year-old Spencer Markham of Janesville – Cody’s parents – are accused of sexually assaulting when they were only five years old in 2021.
Spencer Markham plead guilty to three counts of repeated sexual assault of the same child in August and is set to be sentenced November 6th.
A jury trial for Kelly Markham is scheduled to start November 18th.
Cody Markham is due back in court in December.
