A 41-year-old Janesville man is accused of choking his two daughters when they intervened after he became aggressive with their mother.
Maynor Antonio Hernandez Fajardo is charged in Rock County Court with two counts of physical abuse of a child, two counts of disorderly conduct, and two counts of resisting arrest.
According to the criminal complaint, Janesville Police were called to a home on the 1200 block of Sylvester Street around 11:00 Sunday night for a disturbance.
A woman reported that Hernandez Fajardo had become angry with her and was acting aggressively when her two daughters stepped in.
Both girls reported that Hernandez Fajardo wrapped his arms around their necks tightly, causing them pain and preventing them from breathing.
Hernandez Fajrado fled the scene before officers arrived, but was located nearby. He apparently fought with arresting officers, causing one of them to injure their hand.
Hernandez Fajardo made his initial appearance in Rock County Court this week where he was given a signature bond.
