Police respond to a report of a gun at Clinton Elementary School.
The Rock County Communications Center confirmed the report made Friday afternoon. School officials told police around 1:30 p.m. that they suspected a student had a gun in their backpack. Authorities had not verified the presence of a firearm at the school as of Saturday morning.
A communications center supervisor says to expect Clinton police to release more information Monday.
