Two glass artists are building a 36-foot tall glass Christmas Tree on the grounds of the Yerkes Observatory in Williams Bay again this year.

Artist Rob Elliott says he and fellow artists Jason Mack are using a mobile glass furnace and clear and green glass that has been donated by members of the community.

Work on the World’s Tallest Glass Christmas tree will happen December 6th, 7th and 8th, and again December 13th through the 15th.

Visitors should park at Williams Bay High School where you can catch a free shuttle.
