Beloit police say they arrested a man just hours after he waved a gun at people in a robbery early Tuesday on Prairie Avenue.
Nobody got hurt, but police say they arrested 34-year-old Adan Casique on suspicion of armed robbery and felon in possession of a gun.
Beloit police say Casique was intoxicated when they pulled over his vehicle about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. Police suspect Casique in an armed robbery at a Prairie Avenue business earlier Tuesday.
Police did not give the name or location of the business and did not otherwise describe the robbery there.
Beloit police say the arrest was coordinated between officers on two different shifts who quickly identified Casique as the suspect. They then spotted and arrested Casique in the snow, just hours later.
