Employees are facing citations for failing alcohol compliance checks at several Rock County businesses.  Sergeant Clint Rowley of the Rock County Sheriff’s Office says staff at the Butterfly Club in Beloit, Chubby Bubba’s in Janesville, The Station Gas Station in Orfordville and Tex’s Too in Clinton received 452-dollar citations for selling alcohol to underage buyers during checks on January 30th.  Rowley says the checks consist of an underage adult, under the supervision of deputies, entering a business and attempting to purchase alcoholic beverages.  He says the Sheriff’s Office provided advanced written notice to each establishment about the upcoming random alcohol compliance checks along with information on underage alcohol violations.
