(Gazette photo) Janesville police are investigating the discovery of a body at Lustig Park. The body of a woman was found just before noon Monday. Police say the body was discovered about 40 yards from the river bank on the west side of the park. A resident walking in the area discovered the body. Preliminary findings show no suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. Identification was found on the victim but is being withheld pending notification of family members. An autopsy is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
