Authorities say the victim in a fatal crash in Dane County on Sunday was a 69-year-old man from Milwaukee.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office says Lambert M. Meyer died at the scene from injuries suffered in the crash.
Meyer’s SUV crossed the centerline and struck a pickup truck head-on. The 47-year-old driver of the truck was seriously injured and transported to a hospital.
The crash happened about 8:20 Sunday night near the intersection of Highway 51 and County B in the town of Dunn, between Stoughton and McFarland.
