The Rock River Valley Blood Center is partnering with the Blue 815 Foundation to host the fourth annual Blue 815 Blood Drive. Donor Recruiter Max Miller says this event is being held in honor of National Police Week. The week-long blood drive will take place at all Rock River Valley donor centers from May 10th through May 16th. The community is encouraged to donate blood in tribute to fallen officers and to those who serve. Miller says they serve a number of hospitals in the region, including Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville and the Beloit Health System.
