AUDIO REPORT: Janesville Police Lieutenant heads state organization

A Janesville police officer is helping set the agenda for law enforcement training statewide. 25-year veteran Lieutenant Terry Sheridan has been elected president of the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Executive Development Association. Sheridan says the group’s mission is to promote professional, progressive, and innovative training for mid level police management. Sheridan says the organization works to keep mid-level law enforcement executives up-to-date.  Sheridan isn’t the only officer from Janesville to have held the position of president for this statewide organization. He says Janesville Lieutenant Tim Hiers was the one to get him involved.
