More than a dozen FBI agents and Rock County Sheriff’s Office deputies in tactical gear have surrounded a home at 426 Eisenhower Avenue in Janesville.
According to a Gazette Reporter on the scene, the sheriff’s office Bearcat armored vehicle is parked in front of the house with several officers in helmets and tactical gear huddled behind.
It was not clear if the incident is related to the manhunt for Joseph Jakubowski, who is suspected of burglarizing a gun shop and sending a manifesto to President Trump.
Gazette Night Editor Tim Seeman, who lives near the house on Eisenhower Avenue, said the home is abandoned.
The house on Eisenhower is about two blocks from Jakubowski’s home on Glen Street.
