Grant helps local humane society save dogs from other shelters

The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin is doing so well placing dogs in homes, Director Brett Frazier says they’re able to take in unwanted dogs from other shelters. Grant money through the Subaru Loves Pet Rescue Ride Program and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is helping the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin save more dogs. Frazier says says many of the dogs come from shelters in the south that may not be able to afford saving them. He says locally they can actually run out of dogs to place. He adds as many as five-hundred more dogs could be rescued this way.
