Local law enforcement release more details on why they feel a Janesville man charged with burglarizing a gun store and accused of making public threats is so dangerous.
Janesville Police Chief David Moore says officers have had a chance to go over the 161 page manifesto that 32-year-old Joseph Jakubowski mailed to President Donald Trump and there are no direct threats.
More says Jakubowski presents an anti government and anti religious sentiment, but that he doesn’t mention schools.
Moore says concerns about school safety came from an acquaintance of Jakubowski’s who feared that he may direct his anger toward an area school.
Sheriff Robert Spoden says his office has already spent $30,000 on overtime since the hunt for Jakubowski began eight days ago.
Spoden says the focus now is to try to interview people who know Jakubowski in order to form a profile that may help officers determine an end game.
Jakubowski remains at large despite a $20,000 reward being offered by the FBI.
